This is one of my favorite moments in every session: when a client realizes they’re already in relationship with the energy of their business—and that they can talk to it. Like, actually have a conversation. Ask it what it needs. Hear what’s next. Get guidance.

Once you realize this is possible, it changes everything.

No more spinning your wheels.
No more staying up late, wondering what the right next step is.
No more solving surface problems while the root issue sits untouched.

Instead: more clarity, more trust, and more joy in your work.

So today, I want to share five simple ways to deepen your connection to the energetic spirit of your business.

1. Journal a conversation
​This is how I started. I opened a blank page, asked my business a question, and let the pen move. Don’t worry too much about whether it’s you answering or your business. If what comes up surprises you, feels emotional, or challenges your assumptions—that’s a good sign it’s coming from something deeper.

Some people like to use two pens, one for each "voice." Try it and see what works. It’s a practice, not a performance.

2. Talk out loud
​I have full-on conversations with my business in the car. (That’s when I also tend to chat with my guides.) Just asking aloud, "What do you want me to focus on today?" can bring in the clarity you’ve been chasing for hours at your desk.

3. Pull a tarot card
​If you work with tarot, pull a card and ask: What does my business want me to know right now? You don’t need to overcomplicate it.

4. Use a pendulum
​As I’ve gotten familiar with using a pendulum in my energy work, I started asking my business yes/no questions. I always begin by grounding, inviting in my guides, and asking the pendulum to show me what Yes and No look like. Then I proceed with my question and receive the guidance.

5. Book a Reiki session
​In a Reiki for the Spirit of Your Business session, I tune into the energetic body of your business. We see what’s flowing and what’s blocked. We identify exactly where your energy is being drained—and what your business is asking you to bring forward next. If you're overwhelmed, wearing all the hats, or unclear on priorities, this session can unlock powerful guidance.

If this is a totally new practice for you—which I’m guessing it is!—it’s perfectly normal for things to feel a little wobbly at first, to ask yourself if this is even working. I promise you, this is absolutely within reach. Here are a few ways to strengthen this connection:

Cut back on alcohol.
​Not everyone loves hearing this, but it matters. Alcohol can blunt your intuitive channels. When I changed my relationship with alcohol, my psychic gifts came online with real force. (In fact, I suspect I was drinking in part to keep them quiet—and once I was ready to hear them, I didn’t need to mute the volume anymore.)

Meditate.
​Quiet the noise so the whispers can come through. If you need a starting point, The Surrender Experiment describes a beautiful practice. I also recommend Ziva Meditation or apps like Insight Timer. My favorite reminder when thoughts pop up? "I can set that down. It'll be there when I’m done." It allows me to relax into the moment rather than feeling like I’m messing up my practice.

Stay open to magic.
​Magic is just reality science hasn’t figured out yet. That doesn’t make it less true. It just means it might not be measurable inside the dominant systems. But the results? The ones I see in my clients’ businesses every day? They’re as real as it gets. So crack open the door to the possibility.
