The Curious Nature Podcast is live!

Today is the day!

The Curious Nature podcast is live!

When my dear friend, photographer, and now co-host (wahoo! 🎉), Meghan LaPrairie, first proposed we do a podcast, I was hesitant.

I mean, aren’t there enough podcasts out there already?!

But once she planted that seed, the idea wouldn’t let up.

Yes, there are a lot of podcasts, but none was talking about this intersection of nature, science, and wonder in the way we wanted: with warmth and immediate usefulness.

And so, over the past year, we’ve been working to bring Curious Nature to life.

Curious Nature is where wild meets wonder.

In our first season, we’re talking all about cycles: living with the seasons, working with your menstrual cycle, what it looks like when something falls out of cycle (hint: plateau). We even interview a NASA scientist (I know!) about the water cycle – and how we can be better stewards of this precious resource.

It’s going to be SO GOOD!

Our premiere episode: The Beauty of Cyclical Living

What if there were a way to get everything done without pushing?

If you could honor your own longings for rest and productivity?

And what if, on top of that, you had a reason to celebrate every six weeks – and get closer to the rhythms of the earth while you do that?

That, Curious One, is exactly what we’re digging into in our first episode: The Beauty of Cyclical Living.

Meghan and I wanted to start with this because learning to tune into the year’s rhythms has been a huge boon for each of us. We dig into what this looks like, share a little history, and, as always, offer ideas for practical ways you can implement this in your own life.

Meghan has worked her magic so you can download the episode wherever you like to listen. Here’s the link to Apple podcasts, if that’s what you use.

Help us celebrate

We were going to have a premiere party the other week to celebrate, but my whole family got Covid instead. (We’re all good now!)

So we’re taking this party to Instagram.

If we’ve piqued your interest, we’d love if you connected with us on Instagram and left a comment on our Beauty of Cyclical Living post.

Even better – if you loved the episode, would you leave us a review? It will help others find us, and make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
