Square 4: 🦋 It’s time to fly!

What a ride.

After all that – the catalytic event, the goo, becoming a new type of being, trying and stumbling – after all that, you’ve made it to the Square Four promised land.

How do you know you’ve arrived in Square Four?

You have fully stepped into who you are now

The world you’ve created for yourself fits

You feel like yourself.

You can fly

When you’re in Square Four, you got what you wanted and you feel the way you want to feel.

You walk into work to lead the annual planning meeting, and you know you’re the right person to be at the head of the table.

You wake up in your vacation cabin to feel the sun on your face, with the people you love most are sleeping nearby, and you feel deeply at peace, at home.

You look at your schedule for the day and notice it’s filled with what you love most – meaningful connection, time in nature, work that lights you up.

You get off the plane in Tulum and see your best friend waiting at your gate, ready to head to the Airbnb for the trip you’ve been planning all year.

What to do in Square Four:

  • Relish how far you’ve come and enjoy your new vantage point!

  • Throw a party if you feel like it.

  • Trust what’s working.

  • Look for incremental improvement.

  • Be present and savor it.

  • Get ready for another change because you know what comes after this.

The mantra here is:

Everything is always changing, and that’s ok.

Here’s what I want you to do right now:

Pick one area of your life, and take a few minutes getting crystal clear on what your Square Four would look like. Whether it’s family, friendships, work, sacred connection, pick one.

Make a mental movie of what it would be like to be there.

Then, and this part is critical, imagine what it would feel like to be there. In your body. Would it feel light? Bright? Bubbly? Steady? Warm?

Tune into those feelings.

Now, try to live in those feelings today

Follow those clues. It’s amazing where they’ll take you.
